Bahaha! Were you getting airflow with that birds nest? I can say that the flow from the floor seems a bit stronger.

When I bought my truck, it didn't smell like it had been smoker owned... until I turned the defroster on.

I checked my cabin air filter and saw...

Changing that made a huge difference. That is not a carbon cabin air filter... it was supposed to be pure white.

Yeah it flowed fine but there was a weird smell so I figured I'd change it, no more smell since then haha

Yup... Same here. I use reusable filter material and cLean then spray it with febreeze anti-allergen spray at the same interval...

This is the one I purchased: FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter, CF9846A - Walmart.com I bought it online but the part number is CF9846A
