Cheaper LED Lightbars and Spots

I really want one of the Rigid industry LED light bars but they are ridiculously out of my price range, so I started poking around the interwebs and found a couple chinese manufacturers that produce extremely similar, if not the same lights that a lot of the off-road stores sell. I contacted two companies

D&M INTERNATIONAL (H.K) CO.,LTD
and
TopTree Industrial

They both sell various types of LEDs and lightbars that are CE certified, and IP68 certified.

The reps got back to me super quickly and said that I could purchase some as "samples" but if I was going to become a distributor that I would have to buy large quantities (500+).

So what do you guys think. They seem decent, and decently constructed...thoughts? If I bought any, would anybody else like something from either of the catalogs?

I didn't look 100% thoroughly but the first site products look kind of bulky an odd. The second site looked really nice! I've been looking to get some aux lights for a while but the 300+ prices im seeing just turn me away. Did the second site tell you any prices?

-=-=- My Bad i meant the first site looked better. D&M International..

yea, they range in price from $25-$100. Though I dont know what shipping or import fees (if any) would be. They're great prices, I suppose I'm just wary of the unknown

I might be interested in trying them out, depending on how much they would be shipped.

D&M INTERNATIONAL (H.K) CO.,LTD dm4wd 100 led light bar..
Light Bar > 2 row light bar

That thing is monsterous! 18000 Lumens!

I was looking into buying electronic cigarettes in bulk from China. About 25 units weighing in at about 18 lbs. I believe the shipping was estimated at $150. I didn't ever complete the order, but I think they get you for an import tax too. Maybe check with carrier rep here in the states, the Cinese vendor probably won;t know. Best regards, Doug

D&M has a listing of their products on Alibaba.

D&M INTERNATIONAL (H.K.) CO LTD - HID work light, HID offroad light for heavy duty, LED offroad light

For something like the attached pic which is a 40W LED Flood light, their prices are about $35-$38 a piece, with a minimum 4-10 piece order (conflicting information on the various pages for similar items).
http://dm4wd.en.alibaba.com/product/431642766-212445207/LED_Offroad_light_DM_410LED.html
These are rated at 3600 lumen which is about 4.5 60 watt tungten/filament bulbs... sheez.

Maybe one of our vendors could purchase a few orders worth and sell'm individually/pairs, etc. :D

Also, if they don't say "Waterproof" but do say "IP68", they're dustproof and waterproof.

I've contacted the supplier on the price / shipping for the lights in that last post. I'll let you all know what I get back.

Well that was quick... and apparently I picked one of their more expensive models.. the 3600 lumen might have something to do with that since most similar light have 1/3 that output. The price is $128 a piece for those... :ybrick:

Back to the drawing board.:dammit:
