Hi I've never been able to start a new thread but have been a member for a while and know you are very experienced. I have a gurgling sound behind the dash on my 04 V6. Is that sound indicative of a head gasket issue. Another member posted the sound here several years ago and it's recorded on google drive. I have the exact same sound. A few other signs of a bad HG would be a white, sweet smelling exhaust, loss of coolant (check reservoir) and of course overheating.

The gurgling could simply be an air pocket in the cooling system.

Hopefully that's all it is

I have that gurgling sound as well on my V8, been doing it for couple of years but no other signs of anything wrong, HVAC works fine.
