Im running Chevy 63's with 14" bilstein's and TG creeper shackles. I really like the creeper shackles but they do make your rear end a little loose on dirt roads. I really like the setup and the flex is nasty.

With that said, how big is your lift? that will tell you how big of shocks to get...

Why are you running leafs?

Here's what I've made so far ended up making 5" shackles can make more different sizes later on if I have to

That's really all up to you, no 63 setup is the same as any other. They're all custom fab and they're all different.

I know that was just looking for a couple of tips to get going in the right direction I guess we'll see what I have to do when the time comes and I start cutting away

Getting ready for the sas to come

What axle are you running up front? Also are you changing the rear axle? I only ask because if your running the stock axle in the rear then why dont you leave it coil sprung and link it?

Curious about your build and plans!!!

I'm keeping the stock rear e locker axle I had a set of 63s laying around from one of my old toys so I figured it's not as much work as the link suspension I'm planning on using a fj80 front with a inchworm adapter on the front but that will be later on if theres anything I've learned building stuff its take your time and do your research

what does that have to do with the rear?

Don't want it to limit me later on if I plan on going higher for bigger tires and I had a set of 63s laying around but this question is irrelevant to what I asked anyways its all still in the works little by little

Yup, I hear ya. The 63's as you already know will be a nice setup and are a dime a dozen at any yard. Not to mention, easy as hell to set up. With that said im running all the specs from TG for the rear shackles. Had to cut my gas tank skid to get the bolt in on that side. My first setup was close to stock width axles.
