Those things are great! Used one to train my heeler/cattle dog never had to put it up past the 20% mark on the controller. I get compliments on how behaved she is (until I say "ok, go say hi")

I tried it on myself at 20% also and I jumped and pulled my hand off. Like touching an electric fence and that is at 20%. Still got 100% extra. You can train a bull with it I swear.

Settings being different for different hardware, we have to use max on our dogs or else they dont respond(when going hell bent after deer and elk); I wouldnt use anything on them that I wouldnt try myself, so I gave it a try. been shocked with a cattle prod once(accident) and it felt about the same. one hell of a jolt, but no lasting pain at all. probably makes our dogs think we wield the power of zeus though
