Clank clank clank while backing

Edit for problem solved:

2005 SR5 V8, 150k, I've owned it for 3 months.

Backing up while cold exhibits a "clank clank clank" from the rear axle. Nothing while going forward or once it's been driven a few miles (new problem after replacing the rear pads and rotors and adjusting the parking brake cable).

This turned out to be the parking brake shoes needed adjustment.

I have the same year model and everything, I also have the same issue. Hope someone can chime in
