Clarifying my search results regarding P0420

Just want to make sure, not only the Check Engine light - but also the VSC OFF / VSC lights as well are on with everyone else?

I went through a pretty deep puddle over the weekend, and almost immediately noticed the 3 amigos.

I don't have an OBD II scanner, but autozone said it P0420 came up 3x.

Any advice besides rear 02 sensor / cats?

Maybe shorted something?

But..... If your 02s are really old I'd replace the rear one first and go from there.

Everything dried out and all lights are off now.

EGR valve

No EGR valve on any 3G 4Runner with a VSC/TRAC light.

They were only on the 4-bangers, and they stopped those when they started VSC/TRAC (2001).

Not being picky, just concerned about future searches.

I understand that. But I knew which motor he had because he said VSC light. And I didn't want people looking for something they don't have. Not that many 4-bangers out there.
