Clean up the roof lining

Hi guys, just wondering how do you clean up the roof lining on your 4R? I have made some stain on it and used wet microfiber to clean it up, it works quit well. But I am worrying whether the wet area will develop mold? Do we have any dry clean method available or should I worry about mold at all?

I haven't stained my roof liner yet, but it does turn pretty nasty and black from running with the gate window down.

I've found that using a dry paper towel works pretty well in removing all of it.

I have tried dry paper towel and it doesn't work for me, so I used a wet microfiber. Just want to make sure making the lining wet will not cause mold issue, otherwise I need to find something else.

You should be fine with most cleaners just don't saturate it or use a brush on it, it'll mess up the nap in the fabric.

thanks, I didn't saturate it for sure, but wet towel did make that area wet. the fabric looks fine though, just worry about the mold issue. Gotta be careful for the liner, it is light color and seems easy to attract dirt and stain...
