Clicking from steering wheel

On my 15 T4R it has recently started clicking from the steering wheel when bring the steering wheel back to center from a left turn.

Does not do it on right turns.

Seems to do it when the blinker is engaged, but not that I can tell when the blinker is not used.

Anyone else have this issue.

Just waiting until its loud and consistent enough to bring it into the dealer.

Hi commbubba,

It sounds like you've got a noisy (Left) 'Turn signal cancellation cam'. If it's that annoying to you, take it back to Toyota and have them replace it. If it's something you can live with, just leave it alone; it could even wear in a bit and become silent across time!

Did you ever get this addressed?

I got the same thing on my 16 and dealer said it's covered only if they determine it's not from my lift. Otherwise it's $110 just to diagnose.

I told **** off. Leave it.

No. they said they couldn't duplicate it.

I have this issue too (when left turn signal engaged) and it gets annoying sometimes. Glad that I'm not the only one with this issue. I will get it checked on my next service and tell them now that I know what could be the culprit.

I have a creaking sound at low speeds......going to get my dealer to check it out at the next service

My wife's '16 had/has same problem. Had a part replaced in the steering. Plumb about 500 miles ago and it's doing it again ex dog now it's doing it on right turns occasionally.... bonus!!!! Was covered by warranty expect it to be again. 26k on the rig.

It most certainly was the lift. Gosh do they use that excuse for everything? :jaw:
