Clicking noise, not valves...what is it???

I never torque plugs with a wrench, but I always get them as tight as I can by hand and then 1/2 turn to crush the washer.

I was able to fix my last ticking noise with electrical tape. The hoses around the charcoal canister often become brittle at this age. One of them cracked so bad that it ended up falling out of one of the VSVs, making an annoying click.

also sounding like a sewing machine I just went out and pulled out the sparkplugs as evident by the numerous holes sprung in old man's hands getting at #6.....I did find one that was a little looser than the rest, all looked fine but still ticking away. oh well I tried.
