Whirring Noise after Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

Hey all, hope I can get some ideas before this ends up at a shop.

I’ve got a 2012 and after a California trip I noticed some noise from the front end. Jacked up the car and drivers side front had a very obviously bad wheel bearing. I was able to get 1/8”-1/4” play pressing on the wheel.

I took out the old bearing and replaced with an OEM Koyo bearing. Pressing it myself with new seals. As soon as it’s back together and test drive I get a very distinct “whirring” noise from the front left starting at about 10-20 mph.

I checked everything and thought maybe the bearing I got was defective or I somehow pressed it in wrong and got a new one under warranty. Exceedingly careful this time to make sure the install was as perfect as possible.

Same noise came back. I tried putting the car on jack stands and the sound is not recreated with the wheels off the ground. The noise goes away if you’re turning left and unload that drivers side.

I see no rubbing anywhere, the cv axle felt okay to me when I installed the new bearing. I double and triple checked everything was torqued to spec. I also checked all the other wheels and find zero play or anything that indicates to me another bad bearing. I also tested if placing the car in 4 high helped which it didn’t.

My only thought right now is I’ve got a bad cv axle. Anyone have some suggestions or thoughts of where to go from here? Money is kinda tight so just trying to avoid a shop
diagnosis fee if I can but I am plumb out of ideas.
