Sounds like the time is right... I don't see myself getting a winch anytime soon as I will be easing into the offroad scene over the next year or so this will make me just that much more self sufficient!

What is the biggest difference between the extreme and regular?

From looking at their website it looks like the only difference is a better powder coat? and some bling paint. I wasn't to sure either.

The extreme has all die cast metal parts, a better design to the "winch clamp spreader attachment at the top and certain parts are zink coated so they resist rusting. Oh yeah... And it has a charcoal metallic powder coated finish
