Have any of you installed your panels yet? Any pointers you care to share? Mine just arrived and I plan to install them soon. I read the instructions online, but thought I would ask if there is any helpful tips you can share.
Thanks
Durwin
I chose to hit them with Rust-Oleum Hammered paint. Took maybe two hours to hit them with a wire wheel in my angle grinder, wipe them down with paint thinner, and give them a couple coats. I chose this route over powdercoat, as they may end up getting scratched by gear, hooks, etc and if I paid for powder-coating, that would bum me out. Same theory with my sliders, as I can easily touch them up and not worry about the paint matching.Received shipping confirmation earlier this week and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I'm considering taking them to a local powder coating facility. For those who have done the PC, how much does it typically run for the panels?
POR-15'd them. Then Top coated in satin black. Turned out nice.![]()

I bought a quart & divided it amongst 7 or 8 small jars. Used 1 jar. Doesn't take much. Love the stuff.Looks cherry. What POR15 can size you used to paint your panels?
