This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount. I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.


Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

I could be in for a 34/78. First, could you remind us how warranties are handled? I have one from the last group buy that may have a bad cell.

You would call the vendor and he would have you provide proof of failure - could be picture of the battery tester reading "Bad Battery" or a printout, if the machine prints out results.

If you do it directly thru Northstar, they will send a form for autozone, oreilly, or napa to fill out stating that it is a bad battery.

Then submit that data to the vendor/Northstar for a replacement or refund.

I just went thru a similar process for my Exide battery purchased 4 years ago on a similar group buy.
