Clunk in Drive Shaft.

Hey 4R pals,

I had my GX in the shop to fix the drive shaft clunk. They have a new drive shaft and replaced uppper/lower control arms. It seems to have worked so far. I thought I would let you know if anyone has the same problem.

Unfortunately, there has not been any TSB for 4runners regarding this matter yet.

I guess that is why Lexus owners pay more for their SUVs.

What arms are you referring to? Do you mean yoke or U-joint or are there control arms back there?

Yes, please keep us up to date on this issue. I've replace my front pads and it still happens. At least I know it wasn't sticking.

They replaced the drive shaft and both lower and upper control arms.
