Clutch hydraulic replacement

2000 SR5 5Spd

My slave cylinder is leaking though I know the previous owner replaced the clutch which is still in good shape. Just wanted to hear thoughts on buying Aisin master & slave since they're over half price as Toyota and it seems they might be the OEM manufacturer anyways? Their clutch kit seems to be the recommended kit for full clutch jobs so just wanted to check before purchasing.

Additionally, anything else need to be replaced besides master & slave cylinder? I know there are metal hydraulic fluid lines along with a flexible rubber tubing. Do people replace all these? Just the rubber?

Lastly, is there any other small information that I might have overlooked like a random gasket or washer as part of this job? appreciate the insight from anyone who may have already done this.

I have 2000 4Runner with 5 speed and have replaced my master and slave with Aisin. They R the ones that supply Toyota. They r great and long lasting. Not bad idea to replace the clutch hose as well and would recommend u do that based on the age of vehicle. There could be a gasket between the clutch master and firewall, but I don't remember as it was a long time ago. I believe u can by rebuild kits as well if u prefer that

Good luck

Get the Aisin one, they'll be identical accept the Toyota one will say Toyota and cost 3x as much.
