I have a no start condition to contend with. My participation next weekend is questionable, regardless of date. Had to foot it down the mountain in snow and 14 degrees tonight. Suck!
 
soo, I think kelly flats isn't happening, lack of funds so to speak haha. I do hope to see you all at the end of the month though!
 
I haven't been on here much, my bad.

Looks like the trip is a no go? Kelly Flats would be do-able for me Sat or Sun, not sure if there is snow on the trail or not.
 
If we could do something more in-between castle rock and boulder i'd be in, the 2.5 hour drive one way on a sunday is tight for me. I do have to go back to work first thing monday.
 
I'm headed up to recover it in a bit. Nothing spectacular, just creeping up the mountain in 4L when I suddenly lost power. Engine died, then wouldn't start again. Turns over fine, but won't run

Didn't get the 4runner down to the shop yet, my help fizzled out(he had a VFD meeting). Tomorrow after work we will get a trailer up there. I just hope nobody jacks with it in the meantime.

It turns over when I crank the key, but wont start. I was able to verify spark on the trail, but that's about as far as I got.

Work at night? Crikey! What do you do?

I put some Blizzaks on the Audi today, and picked up my 4wd work truck from the office, so at least I'm not stuck on the mountain anymore.

Edit: When I showed up for my first day at the new office, I learned that for the time being Sun/Mon are my off days. That will likely change before long, but there it is. No Saturday wheeling trips ATM for me

Where are you located? I can help before 2 tomorrow and 5 Thursday if your really stuck Line cook, but I'm looking for something new, any openings you know of?
 
I think i'm going to try and make both trips. Never done Kelly Flats before so id like to do that one. Should be able to make Chinamans too
 
So should we start to work out details for this Chinaman's gulch trip? Where are we camping, are we caravanning, which day are we running Chinaman's, what other trail/s do people want to try to run? Is [MENTION=67615]Dirtco[/MENTION] going to make this run? How about [MENTION=11013]glenyoshida[/MENTION]?
 
I spoke with the ranger's office this morning and Kelly Flats is open still and should be still this weekend they said. Like Tyler said it would be interesting. Heart attack hill may have to be bypassed because of the snow for a lot of guys and that would be pretty lame since that is pretty much the main attraction and completely doable when dry.

Anyway if any of you guys are going I'd recommend you double check while the office is still open on Friday before ya head out there.
