Cold WEATHER Idle Issue

Hello All! Having an issue with my wife's 2006 T4R SR5 V6. We live in Montana and temps having recently dropped to 8-10F overnight. When I start the vehicle in the AM, it has a super rough idle and cannot seem to find a proper RPM upon start up. I am able to apply gas and reach about 1200 RPM for about 1 min and it will begin to idle just fine. Subsequently, it will throw various misfire codes with a CEL light, VTRAC light. I am able to reset every time. I have tried to search other sections, but have not found anything regarding cold WEATHER starts. Just COLD starts. I am specifically looking for guidance with what I need to be looking at when temps drop. I have cleaned and will replace the PCV valve with new tubing as it was moderately cracked at one end. Before I start throwing plugs, wires, O2 sensors at the problem, wanted to touch base with everyone to see if anyone else had the same issue! Thanks so much for the help or guidance!

Check your battery, if it's past its best it won't like the cold and could be affecting the operation of the ECU and resulting in these weird errors you have.

An easy thing to check before you tear anything apart, at least!

And check your earth points too. The traction control light coming on makes no sense for an engine issue

Clean all the related sensors you talked about and the throttle body, iac. I did mine at 100,000. The upstream a/f sensors take about that long to warm up especially if the pre heat element isn't getting power or is ****ed up.

Not sure your 4Runner has one but if it has an air flow control idle valve that might be the problem.

Check for a leaking head gasket. Coolant leaking into the cylinder will pool up after the vehicle has been sitting and will cause a misfire when started, clearing up shortly after its been running. I would pull the spark plug on the affected cylinder misfiring and inspect in the cylinder while cold (with a borescope if possible) if not try and get a peek down inside if possible or check for wetness

Not sure your 4Runner has one but if it has an air flow control idle valve that might be the problem.

Iac idle air control sensor is on the throttle body on the 2010 also the throttle position sensor. Not sure about yours. Use a sensor safe cleaner like maf cleaner on sensors.

Ok, thanks everyone! It looks like it is consent with the P430 code along with the above mentioned. So thinking about checking for exhaust leaks first, then moving to O2 sensors?
