If it matters...

To be, tundra 5100s with 880's coils are way too stiff. Rear tundra 5100s and 906's feel pretty good.

I'm not sure if the stiffness is the coil or the shock.

I’m going by to say it’s probably the shocks. I have 4Runner-specific 5100s with OME 880s with poly bushings everywhere and I really like the ride. It is stiffer than stock, but not harsh. Highly subjective opinion of course.

It is my favorite car by far and never regretted that I have worked a lot to be able to buy it by myself. I feel very comfortable and safe driving it, plus I love the ride. Whenever I feel stressed or anxious, I just go for a ride which helps me to calm down and to organize my thoughts. I don't know what I would have dealt with all my problems through my college years without having it. Plus, I have noticed that I always get the best ideas while driving so whenever I had to write an essay I went for a ride which always sparked my creativity.
