Castle Rock is fine with me. I could probably do Aug 23rd but with the Colorado Jamboree being the weekend before I'll have to play it by ear on if I can swing two trips back to back.
 
I would like to attend. Castle Rock is about a 4 to 4 and a half hour drive. Maybe I could make a weekend out of it and visit friends in Denver and Ft. Collins. I'll stay subbed to this.
 
I'm new here but I wouldn't mind a meet/greet. I might have to attend the next one bc I'll be in Napa for a work trip in August, then out in Utah working the Red Bull Rampage event in September. Castle rock or Denver both work. I'll need to put the time in to get that Saturday off
 
I'm moving to the Springs a couple days before but might be able to make it out to the meet if it's the 23rd. It would be cool to meet some of the other t4r people in the area. I'm up for the mountain bike idea too.

Hello Colorado people, I'm from Chicago but I'm going to school in Golden in about a week and I was wondering if getting a higher flow air filter for my 5th gen like an AFE prodry is necessary/beneficial because of the higher altitude or if the OEM filter (what I have now) is just fine.

Probably won't make a difference. I got the afe dry filter just for the ability to wash and toss back in. I think the 5th gen does very well in the mountains here. A V8 would be nice but the gas mileage would not.
 
Ok crew next question we should determine is where in castle rock and what time for the meet? Morning'ish I assume, not to early given the location of folks interested.

Ok 10 am seems reasonable on august 23rd at the Home Depot in castle rock. It's right off the highway and there is coffee close, haha.

I am a new 4Runner owner, but have been on T4R for a little bit.

Wish I could attend the meet & greet, but I'll be out of town on business.
 
5 months trying to get this together? You folks need to meet up with some of the Front Range 4x4 people. If you don't mind getting your truck dirty and having some fun with non-4Runners that is. Front Range 4x4 Forums. Yes, I know a few of you have joined, Eric & Marie come to mind.

Five runs are planned at the moment...

I did register with Front Range 4x4 but it went inactive and I never made any of the runs with the group.

I spend a lot of time with the FJ group/ forum and this forum so it is difficult for me to put time in other places (ask my wife)

And to the guy pointing out other groups, I can see and go out with Heeps anytime, I don't get to see many cool 4runners up close very often. I am stoked about the op to see a couple mods I may do down the road as well, ie sliders and skid options.

(Full disclosure, still love Jeeps, just not for a dd)
