Colorado Front Range Meet and Greet

I'm definitely going to try to make it... I have a couple things to figure out to get the 4Runner highway-worthy, but it should be doable! I'm trying to get a couple guys with nice Tacomas to go up as well.
 
This is shaping up to be a nice gathering.
Maybe I should get the Home Depot Hot Dog guy to move his cart out to the parking lot. :brick:
 
I called the Home Depot store manager in Castle Rock to let him know what we are doing and he does not have any concerns

Hey I know you wont have your 4Runner with you but you should attend and so everybody gets to know you. I added you to the list if you can make it.
 
Can't make it

I can't make it this time due to an all day meeting C-Springs. Have fun and I will make the next one. I would be up a meet and great/wheeling trip sometime this fall if anyone is interested.

Sorry you cant make this one. Hopefully we can get some runs in the works. I know I have not been out much this year.
 
damn, this blew up. Wasn't expecting everyone to be out there. I will be there but unfortunately my lift doesn't get installed until the Tuesday after so we will have to do another one later as well.

Smooth Ride. Another member mentioned them. The owner is a Toyota master mechanic with 16 years and the price was pretty hard to beat. Still would have liked to do it myself or with some other people but I'm looking to get it put on pretty quickly.

Don't worry I've got a few things I still want to do myself (aren't many of us a work in progress?) and I'm hoping to check out what some other folks have done for comparison. Plus since I'm really a novice off-road maybe learn a thing or two and get some advice before I do those mods.

Did you go with the OME setup?

As long as no one makes fun of the crappy factory steps for the wife and kids still attached I'll be happy.

I'm going with the Bilstein 5100s with icon springs up front and OME springs in the back with Light Racing UCAs. I talked with the mechanic that happens to work next to Toytec. We had a lengthy discussion on which one he thought was better. I've heard both good and bad from both companies but he talked me into the Bilsteins.
 
We are just days away from this, hope no one misses it!

I invited a couple 4runner owners at work, unmodified but I think easily converted, hahaha.
 
I, regrettably, won't have my 4Runner highway worthy by Saturday morning so I won't be able to make it. :-(
