Well I once had a 97 runner and I regretted selling it. Well now I have a 2014 focus ST and I'm going to sell it to get another 3rd Gen. It has a supercharger but real high miles 242,000 and its pretty expensive $10,500 so I'm asking your opinion.

1998 4Runner 4x4 SR 5. This is a clean 4 Runner inside and out everything works including very cold AC, cruse ,tilt wheel, tach, elec windows, Oh Ya! King coils over front suspension with OME rear springs and OME Nitro shocks give the 3" lift.

Ooooo! He said he would trade for a YJ I have one of those he can take it. OP 10 grand is way too high for this vehicle offer 5k and if he doesn't even budge walk away and find one with lower miles and no mods that way you can do them yourself cuz that's all the fun.

If I owned another 4runner I would build it like this one. So if it's what I would build I might as well buy it. But it's spendy. And high miles.

It has higher miles, it looks like it had the factory oak leather, but the front seats must have been really bad, and were replaced by some poor condition cloth seats.

The brake fluid appears to have never been changed.

I think there are better 4Runners out there, for a better price.

But living way up north there is not much available unless I drive a long time. I'll just keep my eye open on the for sale thread here :)

For that kind of money you can get on eBay or other sales channels and actually negotiate a sale. That high mileage rig is a gamble at any price. You gotta figure in the expected maintenance/rebuilding it will require not too far down the road. It's not worth over $6000 to me - in tip top shape as well! I would pass it up for any price and look for a better model with lower miles. There are a lot of them out there. Don't hurry!!

There's a black 98 close to me with lift, wheels, tires etc just like this without the supercharger with 224k and they're asking $4800. Sorry but that's a fairly stock 4runner with a supercharger.

Up to you if you think its worth a $6k difference.

And I'm in the pnw where they go for all the money too.

I have a buddy that is selling his 96. It had total 4.5 or 5.5" lift with 35's and custom front and rear bumpers. He also has HID off-road lights on the front. He want $5000 I think. He is located in everett wa. Far drive but i know for a fact it is a good nicely built runner. Only real problem is no carpet he rhino lined the floors and it's missing a back seat. I have a back seat that goes with it at my house he just never came to get it. If you interested i can try and find his add on craigslist and post it or you can PM me and ill get you his info

couldn't find his post but here are some pics of his forgot about the body damage on the passenger side doors damn stumps.
