Considering TBU. Anyone used this kit?

You guys that say it feels the same, you have the 231s correct? I have the extra pedal throw with the 231s...bled a few times, bedded twice...still there. I need to check the rear brakes but changing the fronts should not have whacked them out so I doubt I will see a change. I am going to order the 199s for my 99 so I can compare the two.

Make sure your brake lines are in good order too... expanding lines would also make the pedal feel squishy. I changed over to stainless steel lines front and rear when I did the 231mm TBU and it evened out to feel almost exactly like stock (but with more power when I need it).

Yes, I have 231s. I guess I didn't mention that I also swapped the front and rear lines to braided SS lines and used a pressure bleeder that attaches to the MC reservoir. I had the braking system open for hours while I putzed around with the swap and was still able to bleed it completely.

How hard is the swap? Can you control the liquid from completely emptying during the process? Also, a part number or link would be EXCELLENT!

You can carefully clamp the rubber hose. But be really careful, but why not change out all fluid with new? Its not a forever fluid.

I was referring to the stainless brake line swap. I have already done the TBU
