Contemplating Trading 5th Gen for 4th Gen V8

No, all the 4th gens had a lockable, limited slip Torsen center diff. The V8 was fulltime 4WD. The V6 was a multi-mode system. It could be set in 2WD or fulltime 4WD.

True but while the 4th gens have the Center Torsen, Some of the (99-00 LTD. as well as 2001-2002)3rd gens also have the multi-mode like the v6 4th gens. as well as some have the Rear E-locker.

I love my 4th gen V8........I had a one-way rental in Wyoming last month......it was a 5th gen......it was nice, but I was happy to get into my 4th gen once I returned home with no urge to "upgrade".

Side note: Has anyone noticed that there is less room in the back seat of a 5th gen or is it just me?
