Just figured I post up about a new stove that I just received. I recently had a Group Buy going for Partner Stove.

This will most likely be the last stove I ever own, and even if I have to replace it I'll replace it with another Partner Stove. These stoves are made from 4041 aluminum, and hand welded in Idaho. The grills are Stainless Steel, and had brass gas manifolds. It's a rust free stove, low maintenance, and comes with a regulator/hose. These stoves also work on all stove propane tanks.

Nice stoves, we used those when I used to Raft the Grand Canyon. The guide had a 3 or 4 burner that folded in half. I don't do anything where a small stove like that one would fit my needs, but it looks very nice!
 
I thought about getting one of these. Aussie seems to be a brand that I see everywhere and kind of looks similar to this. I wouldn't mind a road trip grill either. I think you can use it as a stove too. Very nice though. I like it!
 
I allllmmmoooosssstttttt bought one of these last year when my local expedition outfitter ran a sale on them. The 22" w/ wind screen was very close to $200.

My wife was the deciding factor, so I am still rocking the coleman...
 
Someone please tell me how this is related to 3rd gen 4Runners, other than possibly being transported in one when camping?

I doubt you'll ever find a 22" for $200 now since that's below dealer cost. The 22" can be found for about $255 plus shipping online now.

Made in America, made from aluminum, the burners are a lot better, and you can use multiple tanks.

Yep, all made the same. After going through 2 Coleman's in 3 years I wasn't going to buy another one.

The way I figure it, if we can have 39 thousand posts about how to spray plasti-shit on your emblems and 82 thousand posts about reading trans temp on a scan gauge, we should be able to tolerate a posts about something we could actually use and benefit from.

My $40 Coleman broke the second time we took it out, but nothing bailing wire couldn't fix. I bought it figuring it would be a 2 year investment, but it's going on about 4 now. I'm planning a camp trailer build and something like this would be perfect (trailer will also be aluminum, so that's :cool: too )

The thing that drew me to it was that it came standard with a hose for larger tanks. We plan on carrying a 5lb tank when we leave so we won't have to mess with the small 1lb tanks. We'll also carry an adapter to allow up to use smaller tanks just in case the larger one runs out.

I've had good luck with a standard Coleman Stove for most of my cooking needs and a Jet Boil for coffee. I guess If I was planning on being on the road for a very long time like you are, this would be a good option so you could use a full-size tank.

I did buy a Magma ChefMate Grill that works pretty good as a table top grill and it's also all stainless steel and pretty easy to clean. When I go car camping, I usually bring the Coleman, Jetboil and Magma for all my cooking needs.
 
I def dig quality products and would consider this stove if I were in the market - however, I'm a garage seller/junker and its unreal how many coleman stoves you can find for nearly nothing.

I've got 4, 3 being "used once or twice and still in the original box", I paid 10 for one, 5 for the others. then I just stopped buying them not knowing what to do with them! ;-)

I hear what you're saying, but what if we all started threads about the things that are completely tangent to the intended subject of this forum? The intent would become irrelevant.

The fact that you sell these should raise an eyebrow too.

Last I checked there was nothing wrong with selling them. I've been selling on here for longer than you've been a member, and never had an issue posting. If you don't like the thread you don't have to read it. Plus there's nothing on this thread that says I sell them, but since it was brought up just now. I do sell them.

We have 10 threads a day start about lifts, led dash lights, and light bar mounts. Our crap like "hey guys what kind of tires should I get for my 17" lift". Maybe even threads about "will my 231mm calipers clear my stock 01 16" wheels"? It's all been said a hundred times, but you pick stoves to bash. We have had 1 about a stove! You should really be going after those threads since there are hundreds of them. I would have welcomed someone else posting a thread like this since this is something that people overlanding might like to have. Not for a purpose of a sale, and I'll gladly tell people that they can get this from Element Outfitters, and get free shipping from them. Hell, I even gave the link to where you can buy them. They have my beat with the free shipping so you can see it's not about the money.

Maybe this isn't the place for Overlanding? Maybe I should reserve those posts for Expedition Portal next time?

If I were in the market for a stove I would definitely consider this. There's also the one that's built in to the fridge slide:

You have more portability and options with the separate stove, but the built in is more compact, stream lined and just plain cool.

I have a Coleman from my folks that's from the early 90's which I think is back when they made their stuff in America. I still have the original box and I couldn't find China anywhere on the box. So far she's held up great, but I would not buy one of their new made in China models.

I appreciate this thread and really like the stove. I'm on this forum because I have a 4Runner, and I have a 4Runner to take camping, so I think camping gear is very relevant. At TTORA we had an Expedition Gear section so stuff like this would go in it but since we don't have one here then I am totally fine with camping gear in this section.
