I've never been there before, but I have an adventure pass that covers Cleveland National Forest, so I'm guessing that will do?

10 am works fine for me!

4Running Daily You going to make this one?

What's the chances of making this a two day camping event? How's camping down that way? If I could spend the weekend down that way I'm game to get the runner out.

Here is a link that show's two campgrounds.

Both are FREE / first come first serve basis. No running water but has an enclosed vault toilet. I have stayed at both campgrounds. I prefer Bobcat Meadow Campground which is at the end/start of Sidewinder. 911A – Peacemaker, 911B – Scout, 911C – Diamondback and 911D – Winchester, are very technical runs, close tight trails. Here are links of videos and trail reports at Corral Canyon that cover most if not all the runs -

Trails I was considering doing where main, sidewinder, and bronco. However I'm also open to others. On camping question there is also lake marena that is 15 min away but I won't be able to stay for a night. However I do have a 3 day camping trip that involves ocotillo, Superstition Mountains , and corral canyon that in planing.

I would LOVE to do this run but there is no way I can get away from work. If the Ocotillo run you mention is later in the fall I'd join. Have fun everybody!

What are you thinking, camp Saturday night and leave Sunday, or are you looking to camp Friday and Saturday nights? I might be game for some camping.

If we do camp out there, we might as well run Pancake Rock on one of the days, too, since it's right there as well.

If someone promises me we're going to run some hard shit, I'll take that day off.

I like your style. Hopefully some of the harder runs are in the plan.

Definitely fill us in on that camping trip! Sounds pretty awesome. As far as this run, it sounds like we might have enough people interested in the harder trails, if you want to finally put your new armor and tires to the test :thumb:

Well that is a holiday weekend for me. So I was planning on meeting up w you guys Saturday, camp Saturday night some where. Play around in the dirt allday Sunday, camp Sunday night, then head home Monday.

Am game for harder trails. I just don't have a locker but the LT helps that a bit.

Ah, I spaced the fact that it's Labor Day weekend. Camping is definitely looking like a good idea now. I'll have to see if I can find some camping gear, or buy some new gear. There's a couple lakes right around that area too for some fishing.

And I'm guessing you'll be fine. Here's the description for the difficult trails:

"Trails at this rating require a vehicle with increased ground clearance and proper protection. Trails will often require a spotter and should only be attempted by more experienced off road drivers. Most trails at this level require 33" tires and at least one locker is recommended."

With a LT setup and 35s (you're running 35s right, or am I imagining things?), and some decent driving/spotting, maybe a pull here and there, we can get you through it!

Success! :whoo:

Dam i forgot it's labor day as well, but one of the nearby lakes is lake morena. It's about 10 minutes away from corral canyon. here some pic of how the cape site look like and the lake. My family does a lot of camping there.( you can also rent boats)

Corral canyon is in the backround
