Cost/availability of a 02 Sport faux skid plate?

The tire shop damaged my factory front skid plate (don't ask me how - I'm furious with them). Truth be told, I was planning to remove it, but I know it has a decent amount of value to those who like the look.

I can't seem to figure it out - is the skid plate/mounting brackets still available from Toyota? I tried searching a few Toyota parts sites, but all I can find is the functional skid plates, not the silver faux one that was only on 02 Sports.

The tire shop will be paying for a new skid plate and brackets if I can give them a quote.

Aw man! I wanted to buy it from you. I don't think Toyota sells them for the 3rd gen anymore. That's why I was thinking about getting one for the Sequoia. If the dealer can't give you a quote for the 3rd gen, show the shop this link

Only problem is the 3rd gen ones were close to $250 (IIRC) before they were fully discontinued, a little more than the Sequoia ones sell for.

Yeah, he's also got the truck listed in the vehicles classified section - says he doesn't want to part out. Also, he doesn't have title - says he got it from a friend of the family who has moved out of the country. Also, he hasn't responded to the PM I sent Friday. I'm not all that hopeful about that one.

Just call or text him. I did and he has been very cooperative.

Check under Tacomas too since same plate different brackets but work with 3rd gens.
