I have a 1909 Savage Model 99 Hammerless 303 that I picked up months ago for a pretty good price. It has a large crack in the stock just behind the action.
Does anyone know where to get an aftermarket stock for it? Being that it was made just 15 years after the Savage Arms Co opened and Arthur Savage himself was still helping to build the guns, I really don't want to change it, but its cracked bad enough that I do not want to shoot it, and it is, IMO, beyond a sound repair.
