I think it is a given in these vehicles that the drivers seat will have some wear. I just put a cover on it. It's OLD!!

Kinda pricey. I could pick one up like that for about $6000 in CA's high priced market. He won't sell it that fast, seeing that "I need to sell today" but it's been listed for 17 days LOL.

How much does the sport edition and the hood scoop add to the value? KBB was around 6500 in excellent condition and this one has some small dings on it.

Sport edition value is relative, some will pay extra for it, others might not. Just really depends on the buyer.

I can tell you right now that unless he keeps it up for months he won't get $8,500 for it. If I had that much to spend I'd buy a Porsche:

Not a very good deal. maybe if it were around the 5-6k mark especially with the wear. I'm sure he's trying to get back some of the 3k he spent on $500 worth of what looks like non-oem parts in those receipts. $1500 for timing job? lol

Lol don't worry I'm not comparing the two vehicles, just giving and idea of what else you might afford with $8,500.

Maybe someday I will have Porsche though! Mid 2000's Porsche 911 Turbo... they are getting cheaper every year...

For a price reference: I bought my 02 sport for $4800.

205k miles, one owner, timing belt, radiator and tune up done at the dealer 30k miles ago. No leather, but sport cloth is in good condition. Same dent on the rear hatch as this one, but I had it PDR'ed most of the way out.

Not sure I see where the extra ~4k is on this one...

No worries. Just giving my examples of why I wouldn't get a Porsche.

Got photos of the seats. There are some tears on them. Nothing terrible, but not in great condition.

That begs the question, how long ago was all that service performed?

Psh, I just picked up my 01 SR5 with 145k on her for $4,500! Original owner, all Toyota serviced entire life of vehicle. I added the rims & tires day after I bought it.
