Crashed up pass side of 4Runner

Its a Silver, Trail w/ some extras like CBI rear bumper and skids, new TRD 17 in wheels. My daughter and I were close to our home when an unguided cruise missile (juvenile female) driving a 15 Accord, pulled out and want to cross three lanes, just to do a U-turn. After not-so evasive action, I could not totally avoid the scrapes on my passenger door, rocker panel, and trim over rear tire. The TRD whees also got some scruff, as well as the aftermarket chi bumper.

Anything to look out for? The cruise missile's insurance should cover but I havant heard final yet. I'll post up pics of it. \\ Its silver so they need to blend doors/fenders/roof, etc.

I want the Insur company to re=powercoat the rear bumper, new black TRD wheel, and instead of steps,I'll have them instal C4 sliders, which I will coat with Herculiner first.

I'm worried about diminished value as the truck is in excellent shape and only has 30000 miles on it. Also having intermittent ham radio cut-off and a light that doesn't work on the rear (Installed aux lights).

There is a thing called "diminished value claim" that you should look into.

Sometimes "not so evasive" maneuvers are safer than evasive ones.. especially in SUV's. If no one was seriously hurt I say good call with whatever you did. Anyways, glad that is sounds like everyone's ok and best of luck with the repairs.

Probably already checked, but have you looked at your grounds for the radio and lights?
