Cc in the #1 position and you will know it. It bucks like a bronco. Unless you are on a serious grade. Turn it up high before you engage like 3wb suggests.

I personally think crawl control is gimicky and I would rarely use it, but you have to admit it's cool. I used it a couple of times on my landcruiser to show off to buddies. I'll never forget the first time, sounds like all hell is braking loose and things are going crazy, but that is it. It's rapid braking and accelerating, doing all the work for you.



The best terrain for crawl control is going through rocks. In deep mud it's useless. I've not tried it in other terrain other than those two.

I didn’t think I’d ever use it until I was on the beach and traveling diagonally up an incline and over a burm. I was going too slow and got myself stuck. High centered and just about sunk myself to the frame. I tried everything but only dug myself deeper. I put it in reverse and set crawl control on it highest setting. Only took about 30 seconds and it dug itself out and backed me down the incline. It saved me a lot of digging.
