Sometimes a little side project can be fun, and having a way to bring tools and supplies right to the truck is always handy.
I had a half-formed idea of doing something retro, so I chose Ikea's Raskog utility cart in beige because it seemed a better fit for that than the black. This cart is ideal because it's small enough to be out of the way when not in use but holds plenty on its 3 shelves.
Then I dug around on eBay for a vintage Toyota emblem and by coincidence, found one with an inlaid border in a similar beige.
I added some color to the logo with the Testors Dark Red paint used for my Satoshi emblem, scuffed it up a bit with some sandpaper, then attached the retro badge with double-sided 3M tape. The cart has some catching up to do in terms of looking aged since the emblem has some pitting, scratches, and smudges, but time will take care of that. ;-)

Cost was $30 for the cart and $15 for the emblem.
