crush washers

Just picked up axle seals, o rings, and parts for a breather mod.

Also got crush washers to drain and fill front and rear diffs.

the guys at toyota couldn't tell me whether the flat side or the curled side goes against the car part. I assumed flat against the car part and curled against the bolt.

anyone?

Either way will work. As long as it's torqued down enough to "squish" the washer to form a good seal.
