CS144 alternator upgrade

im thinking its fuse box related too. in order to test the voltage in the interior fuse box, how would i. if i take a fuse out to stick a prob in there it stops te circuit, thus now flowing 12v...shed some light on how to test voltage in a fuse box?

Make sure your gnd side of your VOM is fastened to a good gnd and then just probe a couple of fuse slots to spot check voltage. One side of the fuse spade lug will have pwr and the other will not as the fuse is in series with any given cct requiring pwr.

If unsure that you have a good gnd under the dash, do the same check as you did for the alt.

VOM = Volt-Ohm Meter= Multimeter
Sorry...nomenclature can be confusing.
When I get going I sometimes forget not everyone is familiar with the terminology

lol thanks. my entire problem simply just has to be a ground fault somewhere. when i turn on 800watts of lighting it kills everything and nearly stalls the car. when its not running and i turn them on, it triggers some dash lights to come on lol...

ITS GOTTA BE A GROUND! BUT WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a ground unknown to the race of man, a ground so important it could change the light output for everyone. a power so fierce....a normal man cannot find (jack black voice) lol
