4th gen enabling DRL - relay cable adapter from 8pin to 12pin?

Hey thanks for reading, first post for a long lime lurker here :wave:

So in short: I'm looking for a way to enable DRL in my 2005 4th gen, I bought the DRL relay hoping I could swap it out, but it's a 12pin, and my 4runner only has the brown flasher relay with 8pin cable connector...

This is the 12pin and the 8pin relay beside eachother:

In long: My SR5 came without DRL, just the standard brown flasher relay which has an 8pin input. To enable DRL's, I would need a way to adapt the 8pin into a 12pin.
From what I read online, there's an adapter to turn the 12pin into the 8pin (part number 82241-35010.). But not the other way around.

I've upgraded to 2006 projector headlights and added 2 extra turn signals (so on each side I now have 2 turn signals, 1 in the lower bumper and 1 in the headlight housing, 4 turn signals total in the front) by using 4pin relays that I connected separately to the battery (so no load change on the standard turn signal fuse), and tapped into the positive cable of each lower bumper turn signal (the standard one for 03-09 models). This way I can run LED turn signals in the headlight housing without getting the hyperflash problem, and I like the look of having 2 turn signals on each side!

The only thing I'm hoping to achieve now is to get all 4 turn signal lights to run as DRL's...

Has anyone here been able to achieve this? Perhaps someone knows the part number to a correct adapter cable?

I'm hoping someone has the answer here :shrug:

youy might want to check out J.A 4runner, he has alot of write ups, i personally don't care for DRL.

Thanks for your help fellas! Turns out, my 4runner actually doesn't have the 12-pin, because it's a different version - the 3L diesel 1KZ-TE to be exact. Seems these just come with an 8pin and no wiring for the DRL setup, sadly.

I have the black DRL relay, and if I can manage to find the connector plug for the 12pin I'm pretty sure I could still get this working if I added the missing 4 wires myself:
ignition source
chassis
low beam
parking brake

Might try some scrapyards to see if there's a 4runner with a 12pin that I could pull it out.. Any thoughts or feedback?
Would personally love to get DRLs to run!

i think the DRL is ecm controlled. better off just leave it alone, or change your front turn signal connector from 1156 to1157, and bulbs to 1157, 1156 is single function and 1157 is dual function. you might need to use additional relays.

(w/ daytime running light)

This system makes use of the turn signal lights as daytime running lights.
For this reason, when the turn signal lights are operated, the daytime running lights function is interrupted momentarily,
