CTH T10 vs. Dasaita vs. TGP Sony Bundle?

Has anyone done a comparison and full-blown research for a replacement headunit recently? Cursory glance seems like these all have a somewhat OEM appearance and there is no clear favorite? any suggestions are welcome.

What are you going on about? The Daisata is nearly the same layout as the OEM with 8 physical buttons.... It's basically a copycat of the 2020-2024 head units. It's not a tablet and it's not going to run users $2,000 like the (used) OEM option.

These 3 appear to be the most common choices for people wanting a somewhat stock look and there's nothing wrong with Sony?

dasaita runs android os and is a make shift car stereo. Reviews are mixed for it, if you like tinkering with android then go for it. I debated this for awhile and found some good pricing on units on FB market. Plus of dasaita is multiple units you can find one you like, larger HD screen and oem look. Multiple FB support groups for it. Reliant on os updates and apps

I went with a sony 8100 from TGP and used that for a few months but wife didnt care for a floating HU. The 8100 is solid HU and the extra watts to power the speakers made a nice difference.

I enjoyed car play and the larger screen. After finding a good deal on the oem hu I went the route of retrofitting and Im happy with it. Deals can be found on the head unit , I was able to pick one up for about $200-250.

You get it. Dasaita is a junky android tablet at best. Buggy, glitchy, etc. Warranty support requires shipping the unit to China in many cases. Steer clear.

I'd go Sony over the china brands.
