The caliper I've got from Autozone only been in there no more than 11K and the dawn thing has seized on me.

Where is a good place to buy Toyota part without loosing an arm or leg?

Have you looked into if the caliper is covered under lifetime warranty? I remember a lot of the ones at autozone being lifetime...might be worthwhile to check it out and see if you don't want to shell out any more $$. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I was just so fed up that I didn't even want to go back to Autozone. I went ahead and bought another one from Advance auto, with 15% online offer the price was good, besides the new one I've from Advance looks much better with the paint job. Time will tell. Thanks again.

When you changed the caliper did you do anything special with the brake bleeding? Also how much was the caliper?

I've never been a fan of Autozone. They are fine for things like wax and oil (although I can get that cheaper at Wallmart). There are a couple of GOOD local auto parts chains I buy from. They only have about 20 stores here in New England. Good quality parts and decent prices. If you have a place like that...then you'll be better off then places like Autozone.

No special thing to do just bleed and you will be good to go. I've the caliper this time from Advance auto by Fenco remanufature for 70 bucks, can't beat the price for sure.

Toyota caliper will cost over $350, that's way too much for me.
