Darkside GTI 2001 Sport Build Thread

I am looking to sell my 4Runner soon. I want to either upgrade to a newer Tacoma or 4Runner. Looking at cars FS in my area it is kind of hard to gauge what I should list the truck at. I have seen some stock Limited's listed for $9500 or so with similar miles as my sport. Would I be crazy to ask for $10,500 with the current mods? Mileage is right around 175k and I did the timing belt and water pump about 1.5 years ago.

I don't think it's crazy at all where you're located. Before I wrecked mine I was thinking of selling, and I was going to list at 15k in Seattle.
 
Before I sell my 4Runner I need to take care of the CEL. I had it scanned the other day and the two codes that came back were:

P0171 Fuel System too lean (bank 1)
P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Below Normal (Bank 1)

I was thinking it is a bad O2 sensor, but the Autozone computer was recommending a MAF replacement. I suppose I could get some MAF cleaner and clean it out, but I worry that it might get fixed temporarily and then come back after I sell the truck. I don't want someone to think I was masking a problem right before selling a car. I will do some more research on those codes to see what other's have experienced.

Had a kid offer me $9,500 today. It's a bit lower than I was looking to get but doesn't seem like terrible money for the car. I was really hoping to get some people into a bidding war. :fencing:
