Dash Gurgle/clicking behind HVAC

I have this gurgling clicking sound coming from behind my HVAC controls, if you drop the glovebox down you can see the actuator that is making the noise, however without tearing half the dash out i cannot comprehend how you get to it. i have read on here if you disassemble it you can clean the contacts, search function has not revealed the thread regarding it, has anyone has success in eliminating the noise?
