I wish you luck. I've been looking pretty hard around me for about a year. No such luck yet. I did find an immaculate blue interior though, unfortunately, that would look pretty hideous in a green and tan truck.

Certain there are dash repairs shops that would do it, had a passenger vehcile dash restored, 'just dashes' out of So. Cal., outstainding job but aint cheap. This was few yrs. ago and not sure they are still in business?

I would do it myself, there are plastic repair kits that include the epoxy compound and depending upon how serious, a sheet of fiber glass. Looks like it's possible to lay a bead of epoxy plastic filler along the crack, larger cracks may have to done in stages. I may start by repairing from underside by laying a bead, use a plastic body filler applicator, then if necessary a layer of fiberglass then followed by another layer of plastic filler. On face probly just lay bead of epoxy using the applicator keeping in mind what you put on may have to be sanded off, then follow up with a paint suitable for plastic. Not an authority, just follow instructions!! Anyhow, food for thought.

One thing I've yet to play with on a dash repair has been microbead kits like for a surfboard. Anybody tried that yet? Surfboards get beat to snot but don't always see the heat damage our's face in an enclosed cabin.

I excavated the loose material and filled the void with Gorilla Glue. I used it because it foams up as it dries ad really filled the cracks and,,, you know, it's made of gorillas so it must be pretty strong... This is after I sanded it.

This is after I slapped 1 sheet of Bondo brand fiberglass mat and resin from Autozone.

Sanded with 80 grit. Guess I'll slap a lil Bondo around before I sand it again...

You should have snapped it up. I've had good luck recoloring a couple of interior parts with Duplicolor interior paint from Autozone. In the following picture the door pockets were once blue. Two coats.

Cometobanks: good project. If you are using any Bondo make sure it's thinner than a dime or it will crack. If it needs to be thicker maybe try the Bondo with fiberglass fibers.

No, its just to fill the lil holes in the fibery part of the fiberglass
