I read some of the reviews on the webz about them and about 90% were good. I just ordered the 4500k 35w hi/lo kit from them as I couldn't find a better price and I have the regular housing but I think they will be fine without the projectors. Does anyone have a personal experience with them? Good or bad.

I have 8 sets of their raptor kit and they are all still running strong, i've had them for about a year and a half. It is up to you to decide wether the output is acceptable for you, some people frown upon running a PnP kit in a factory housing, others don't care too much. One thing to note, a projector retrofit will give you a significant improvement over anything in the stock housing, without the glare.

DDM hids

I can honestly say DDM hids are the BEST bang for your buck!!
I have the 35watt 6000k kit single beam not HI/LOW. You really dont need both IMHO.
This is the only company I know that gives you the lifetime warranty!!

I did not do my retro (I know go ahead and frown on me!) because these have casper shields already built in.

It makes no glare and at 35watts it draws virtually no current!!

I would recommend to anyone.

I will throw up some pix soon!

Thanks

Ambush

I was debating between 35w and 55w but with the fogs and 2 Hella 500's I didn't really see a need to draw more current. I did a lot of research and I think 35w will suit me just fine. I want to see those pics when you get a chance.

The DDM ballast I think is more sturdy than those digital ones, I don't have problems, and no flicker..plug n play.

I have digital from ebay and replaced them...

here is DDM raptor 5000k 35w in my fogs and philips xtreme power in lows(previously silverstars ultra):

Yes, they are a very reliable company! I had a problem with my first set I ordered, they are local so I just drove to their office and they gave me a brand new set no questions asked! Worth the $$ :bravo:

I bought a 55 watt 8000k kit last Saturday from DDM and it still says PROCESS on the status.

I guess this means that they have not even shipped them yet.

How does 55 watt 8000k sound?

55 watt is much brighter, and the blue is much lighter than the 35 watt 8000k.

You think I will run into any problems with this set up?

I ordered mine Monday and it says completed. The arrival date is 1/5/09.

I don't think you will have any problems with the 55w. One of the main reasons i didn't get it is because without having projectors it will definitely have a bad glare. I have had 35w hid's before with halogen housing and had no problem, never again will I have 12000k. They were purple as Barney and not bright at all. Also, if the glare is too bad I thought about trying to make up some eyelid that will cut it off at the top. I don't think I will have a problem though. I will post some pics of the install and before/after once they get here and I install them.
