I am a Toyota enthusiast. Since you've caused me and my ancestors great dishonor by not selling real Land Cruisers in the US, the next best thing would be a new TRD Pro for the 2016 model year.

Instead of starting out with the TE, how about starting out with the Limited full time 4x4 drivetrain, then lifting it with the trick TRD suspension and throwing in KDSS? I know your crack team of engineers can do it, you make the damn Prius--which is like Al Gore's space shuttle.

Oh, yeah, and make it in these colors

Dear LandCruiser:

After a delicious dinner of sushi off a naked supermodel I read your letter. I've decided to build a vehicle to your request.

I thought I'd go a few steps further. First, I thought you'd probably want a v8 engine for a little more power. I threw in a 6 speed automatic for good measure. I then thought, I bet this friendly fellow would also like some more head room. So I raised the roof a bit. Then I added KDSS. I also added an air adjustable height suspension, so you can have a nice ride and more height off road.

Then I thought to myself, why be stingy. Let's make TWO different SUVs and give you an even better one with a bigger v8 as well. Just in case you wanted a little more power.

And, given your interest, I've decided to name them after you as well!

The biggest problem with the LC200 is that in the North American market we do not sell a "LandCruiser" we sell a "MallCruiser." Overseas you can get an LC200 in a much more barebones trim, with a nice 4.5L twin turbo V8 diesel, and much more "rough and tumble" trim package. Where as in North America all you get is the $80k-ish Land Cruiser or the $95~120k-ish LX570 (which isn't much different at all from the Toyota.)

I'd buy a LC200 if it was in the 50k-ish range and came with about 60% of all the luxury crap missing like laser cruise control, seat heaters, leather, fancy Lexus style wood trim, more useless drive aids that I care to mention, ect. (I'll keep the center console cooler though...)

They gave me a vehicle budget and I immediately went out and bought a lightly used Wagon.

I believe it uses the A/C to chill the center console down, it's got a pretty good weather seal to keep it nice and cool.

Gas mileage I could live with, I'm getting around 11~12mpg with how little driving I do these days (about maybe 10~15miles per week if that.) It's all the extra crap I couldn't live it, it's why I didn't go for the GX470/GX460. Way too much luxury crap I'd have to rip out of the vehicle to get it where I want it, same deal with the LC200 and for how much you pay for one; it's too much trouble to try and decontent $30k worth of crap I don't need/want but paid for.
