I was on a date yesterday and we were walking in an outlet type place just afer lunch and this grocery store had water for 80cents a gallon. I drink gallon waters, so I almost threw her to the floor in an attempt to get at it...but decided that would make me look uncool, so I walked onwards with my heart crushed.

Anyway, interestingly enough...if the h20 car becomes an everday reality...then not much will change, as in many of my political theory classes and articles I've read state that the wars of the future will most likely be over access to water. Amazing stuff.

I hope people who don't need SUV's sell them. I have three huge dogs. Largest 170 lbs. I like to go camping. The 4 Runner is great because if you arrive late at the campsite you can always sleep in it. I can fit my mountain bike in the back. I can go up terrible unpaved mountain roads with ease.

I don't understand why people who bought them when they didn't need them in the first place. All those people who put super low profile tires on a big SUV? I never got it. Cars are so much better to drive if you don't need an SUV why would you buy one? For the same price as a limited you could get a 3 series BMW. That would make a heck of a lot more sense to drive if you don't go off-road or have huge dogs.

I agree with you, but here's an interesting fact...
There has never been a war over water.

There have been some close calls during human history, but in the end all sides eventually agree to work it out.

What if one country erected a huge dam on a river and obstructed the flow of water to "downstream" nations? I could see a huge potential for conflict erupting over such a thing. There are several places in the world where rivers are not contained within the boundaries of one sovereign country (Amazon, Nile, Danube, etc.).
