Death Valley Dec 15-19

Planing a trip to Death Valley December 15 to 19 and wanted to see if anyone is interested. The idea is to explore the back roads including Mengel Pass, Racetrack, hot springs, steel pass, and Eureka Dunes. Will be traveling with family and two kids (2 and 8) so we will stop to explore mines, dunes and other places.

I might tag along, but I can't leave until Saturday, the 16th.

We can leave Saturday, that would mean coming back a day later on the 20th. Would that work for you?

Currently thinking Panamint Springs to Racetrack through Hidden Valley, up Lippincott to Warm Springs, then Steel Pass to Eureka Dunes. Then back to Furnace Creek. But happy to discuss routs if someone else joins.

Wish to tag along but Christmas week is booked

We did Death Valley a few weeks ago. Great weather, did Ubehebe Crater, Racetrack Playa and the tourist spots but did not have time to do Titus Canyon and Saline Valley Hot Springs. I have no plans for trip soon but I'd like to suggest a route (which I wanted to do but did not have time during last trip), inspired by All-Terrain Family's youtube videos...

From Camp around Beatty, NV through Titus Canyon Rd, to Ubehebe Crater, to Racetrack Playa, to camp at Homestake Dry Camp (primitive). Route here.

We are definitely leaving Saturday now if anyone is still interested in joining. Planed rout as described above, we did Titus Canyon before and it's a bit out of the way so we will skip that this time.
