Death Valley trip?

I've heard the best time to go there is November. So I thought I'd see if any groups were planning a trip there this year? Don't want to go solo and it would be fun to make a meet out of it

November has good weather (usually) but I've found it a bit crowded for me. They have the 49 Encampment there and Thanksgiving holiday seems to bring lots of people. I like to photograph flowers and visit in Spring (March/April), but this also brings people and I try to stay (camp) in out of the way places. December and January I've found less people and the snow on the mountains can make for some good landscape photography.

Spring is actually the best time to go because of the wild flowers. Plus it also depend where you visit in Death Valley.

I would love to make a trip out there for sure. I'd be inclined to go in the winter as well, but the wild flower season in spring is stunning. I have a friend who takes trips there regularly for photography sessions with prints that sell very well at local art shows.
