Decent replacement battery terminals that work!

I went through a few different sets and after a few Amazon returns, i came across a set that works just fine with our stock cables. Hopefully this saves someone time and inconvenience. Amazon.com: Ampper Brass Battery Terminals Connectors Clamps, Top Post Battery Terminal Protector Set for Marine Car Boat RV Vehicles (1 Pair): Automotive

Those screw on type are good to get you home but they are a pretty poor connection. Not really recommended except in a pinch. They leave your cable open for corrosion.

You'd be better off crimping a nice lug on the cable and using the Toyota style, then you'd be good for another 20 years.

If the price of the toyota terminal scares you, the exact same part can come from the nissan dealer for much less money.

I agree completely, just needed a new terminal in a pinch and went through a few other options that didn't fit the stock lug. Once it gets warm enough I'll get a proper setup!

Yes, those connectors are garbage. I think "The Eric the Car guy" once show a voltage drop just at the battery clamp.

here ya go same price as nissan .... and better yet there Toyota OEM Terminals this is what the OP I believe meant to use and post. Since you could have easily ordered these instead and no need for any returns or settling on in a pinch garbage for only $4 bucks more. (note their not copper though) assuming from pic.
Enjoy

I think they are tinned copper.

Terminals replaced. The positive side was just a tad short hence the angle. I will be extending them soon as there is corrosion. Just waiting on parts.

I ordered these as well but at the time they were 1-2 weeks out on shipping for me, hence me jumping on the shitties I posted here, and I needed them quick! I haven't installed the OEM's yet, but I will update when I do.

Did you ever upgrade your battery to AGM? Im wondering if the hood will close with these terminals mounted on my XPower AGM deep cycle battery? any obstructions with these?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Sorry, still using the same battery. But I think I have plenty of clearance for a taller battery. Will need to take a closer look when I get home.
