Detailer in LA / San Fernando Valley area

Looking for a nice exterior detail job on my 03 4Runner. Paint is dull and would like to bring it back to life. I have received various quotes just calling around but I can't seem to get a reasonable quote. Most of the detail places focus on high end cars.

Any have an idea of how much I should pay? Even better, anyone know of a good detailer with reasonable prices.

Any help is appreciated.

If your paint is on the dull side, you just *might* need a polish job. That's a bit more involved than a typical "detail."

However, you might be able to get away with a good decontamination job, and a decent wax. That MIGHT be able to bring some shine back.

Are those guys quoting you, sight unseen? What kind of figures are they throwing around?

Can you post up some pics, including some sun shots? I'll be meeting with a handful of detailers on Thursday.

My paint is really dull. I bought it a few months ago and was debating a full paint job but I just can't justify the money. I don't need it to be perfect but I want it in better condition. I have been quoted anywhere from $250-$1000. Others won't even quote without seeing the vehicle. The person I spoke to that was the most knowledgeable scared me away because he said I would need to detail it every 6 months for it to stay in good shape. I can't spend $700 + every 6 months.....

I just reached out to the person recommended here....let's see what he says.
