DFW 4Runners - Lift Install Discount

***STILL IN PRELIMINARY STAGE***

Wondering if anyone is contemplating having a simple lift installed on their 4Runner.

Dallas Suspension and Frame Company said they would install 1.5" front spacers to level out my '06 4Runner for $120. I've talked to at least 5 other places that want to charge $250+, so it seems like a good deal. I don't have the area to do the install myself.

He said he would give a discount on install prices if I could get other 4Runners who want lifts installed

If none, maybe this will help out someone in the area down the road looking for a descent price on install.

I'd be interested in getting some Bilstein 5100's and FJ shocks installed. But it would require them removing XREAS and then an alignment. I doubt they'll do all that for $120.
 
I got my cornfed 3/2 installed from a shop in Richardon, back in Januray. I ahve XREAS and many places turned me down or were asking too much. I got it done with 350 incl. alignment. That guy is Toyota certified. Another 4R owner in plano used him and referred me there.

It wasn't JP Importz in Garland was it?
 
Sounds like it is JP. I was lazy and had a buddy of mine that's a tech at Sewell Lexus do the lift, alignment, mount and balance of new wheels/tires for under $200.
 
I have some FJ shocks and coils that I want installed. I've gotten quoted $450 and ~$600 for the install and alignment and have been trying to find someone willing to do it for a more reasonable price. I'd definitely be interested if they can do it with the alignment for less than $300.

Forgot to mention, no XREAS to worry about on my install.

Hey dude, i guess I sold you those FJ shocks & coils along with bug shield. U r the one with Gray Mica Limited, right?

It sure would be nice to find some shop with decent price and decent job, which we can all use.
 
Do any of you guys have tools? Any of this can be done with just basic tools. As many of you as there are, surely you guys can come up with something. The install isnt that difficult, just takes time. Maybe you guys could get together and do one of the easier installs first (ie no xreas). Dallas is a little far for me, otherwise I'd offer to help.

I'd be willing to do that, I installed the 3" OME on my 2003, but I don't have the room at my apt. and all my tools are in storage.

As of right now I have my truck and 1 Tundra from TTORA that wants a 3/1 spacer lift installed.

If you want to PM me your details about your lift and truck I can shoot over an email and copy you in.
 
FWIW, I had an appointment to get my FJ shocks and coils installed for $260 with alignment and the guy no showed on me. I made the appointment two weeks ahead of time to accommodate his schedule, and when I showed up for my appointment, his shop was closed. I called him and he said it'd take him 45 minutes to get there, and after 45 minutes of waiting I got tired of having my time wasted and drove the hour back home.
