Did I make a mistake?

I just picked up an OME kit for my 2nd Gen. on CL. Front and rear shocks, rear springs, BJ spacers and steering knuckle extension for $150. They were on a '94 for a year before dudes friend did solid axle swap and traded them to dude with wheels in exchange for tree work. Did I make a mistake buying them used? For the record, my 4Runner will only be for some weekend driving and maybe a couple overland adventures a year.
