Love my third row and has been amazing when I need to carry a few more bodies. It also saved me from having to get a Sienna! I have a Yakima Skybox 16 that stores the strollers and Osprey Child Carriers leaving the rear empty almost 90% of the time. They can also be removed in the event that you don't need them or need the extra space.

Lol. No Bob strollers for me. I have a 2013 Mag Grey SR5. The premium was not offered as a trim package when I first purchased the truck. So we not only have twin boxes but osprey backpacks! Are you I possession of bob strollers? lol! Please tell me you have a mag grey sr5 premium.

I just noticed your sig. I have a 2013 SR5 4runner 4wd Mag Grey w/3rd row. Soon to install Drabbits Roof Rack, Yakima Sky Box 16, Weathertech Mats and ARB Breather Mod. It looks like I found my twin on the other side of the country. Lol. I did however just order my SSS Rear Bumper and Shrockworks Front bumper on the most recent group buy so this should be coming in the next couple months.
Lol. I'm in Union city! Now the kicker...We were living in the Bay Area (Fremont) until last July...lmao! Can't wait to see my twin all grown up when your new toys arrive!
Ive got the same truck, super white, 3rd row SR5...and i wanted it for our needs.
i own a pickup, so hauling isnt a factor. with them folded down, they have the hook mounts, so a cargo net solves any sliding issues. Road tripping with the fam, my 14yr old has the middle row to herself, then my 8yr old has the 3rd row to himself. Plus we always seem to be riding the 4 of us, +1 or 2. That third row means everyone is comfy, nobody is squished. As folks get older, taller, then maybe it wont mean as much. but for now, and the next 5-7 years, it serves its purpose.
I have sat back there before also (only 5-8). you slide the middle row up a bit, and there is enough room to sit and ride for an hour or so before you start to complain.
Add to that, you can split the two seats in the 3rd row, and cargo one side, kid-sit the other...its a nice option to have. My wife just road tripped 6, plus luggage, for a weekend from Wash DC to the Delaware Beaches...and all rode in comfort.
Can 3rd row be added to 4Runner SR5 4x4 AFTER car purchase or car has to come with 3rd row from the factory?
